<Note on Smartphone Authentication>

  • A Push Notification will be sent to your Registered Smartphone once you push the "Smartphone Authentication" button. Reactivate smartphone authentication application if you have not received a Push Notification.
  • Your request for a wire transfer has not completed if we have not confirmed authentication by your Registered Smartphone.
  • This screen will be switched to the request completion screen automatically once the wire transfer is authenticated by your Registered Smartphone. Make sure to check the transfer status screen, because in some cases a wire transfer request is accepted if we have confirmed that the transfer has been authenticated with your Registered Smartphone, even if this screen has not been switched to the request completion screen.

<Note on wire transfers>

  • The number of free-of-charge (cash-back) online wire transfers to other banks of the month is counted from the transfer accepted at around 0:00 of the first of the month. Make sure to check the number of wire transfers before sending a new transfer, because the time for starting counting may be a little earlier or later due to system maintenance or others.
  • Requests of funds transfer will not be cancelled in principle.
  • Funds transfer requests will be processed to credit the funds immediately to the beneficiary's account. However the date and time when the funds are credited to the beneficiary's account depend on the receiving bank's operation or the SBI Shinsei Bank system maintenance. On the confirmation page of funds transfer request (Smartphone Authentication), please confirm the date when the funds are credited.
  • Wire transfers between SBI Shinsei Bank accounts will be executed immediately after they are requested.
  • If you hold a yen time deposit and are eligible for an overdraft service, you can make transfers exceeding the balance of your yen ordinary deposit. In such cases, interest will be charged on the negative balance, so please be mindful of your balance when making transactions.
  • Funds and fees for wire transfers will be withdrawn from your yen ordinary deposit account when they are requested. You cannot designate the transfer date.
  • Payments will not be made to recipients' accounts if incorrect information is entered. Funds will be returned to your ordinary deposit account in such cases. (They will be returned in or after the evening of the transfer date, but may take one day or two.)
  • Check the transfer cancellation (unwinding) procedures page if you wish to cancel a payment which has already been made to the recipient account.
  • "Notice of Transfer Error" will be sent to you in notification email if we fail to complete the transfer you had requested. Sign up for notification emails from "Registration/Change of notification email address" of "Confirm registered information".

 Regarding the transfer fee on PowerDirect

  • Depending on the customer's account stage, domestic fund transfers made on Online Banking(PowerDirect) are free of charge(reimbursed); 10 times for "Diamond" and "Platinum", 5 times for "Gold", 3 times for "Silver", and 1 time for "Standard" per month.
