スマホ認証サービスの変更予定について（2026年2月26日更新）

平素よりSBI新生銀行をご愛顧いただき誠にありがとうございます。

当行は、2026年3月末頃を目途にスマホ認証サービスを従来の「VIP Access」アプリによる認証から、「SBI新生銀行アプリ」による認証に変更いたします。これによりパワーダイレクト（インターネットバンキング）およびSBI新生銀行アプリのセキュリティ強化と利便性向上を実現します。

変更内容

  • 現在のスマホ認証（VIP Access）：取引時に「VIP Access」アプリにプッシュ通知が届き、取引内容を承認
  • 新しいスマホ認証（FIDO）：取引時に「SBI新生銀行アプリ」にプッシュ通知が届き、スマートフォンの生体認証を利用して取引内容を承認

従来は取引時に認証専用アプリ「VIP Access」による認証が必要でしたが、本件リリース後は「SBI新生銀行アプリ」だけで認証が可能となります。特にSBI新生銀行アプリのご利用時は、取引から認証までをひとつのアプリで完結できるため、よりスムーズにお手続きいただけます。

新しいスマホ認証の特長

新しいスマホ認証は、オンライン認証の国際標準規格「FIDO（ファイド）」に準拠しています。お客さまのスマートフォンに登録された本人確認情報（生体認証）を利用することで、「VIP Access」アプリを利用した認証よりも安全にお取引いただけます。

新しいスマホ認証の利用方法

SBI新生銀行アプリでお取引（振込）の場合

STEP1 SBI新生銀行アプリを起動。STEP2 アプリで振込先と金額を入力。STEP3 振込実行。 STEP1 SBI新生銀行アプリを起動。STEP2 アプリで振込先と金額を入力。STEP3 振込実行。

パワーダイレクトでお取引（振込）の場合

STEP1 パワーダイレクトで振込先と振込金額を入力。STEP2 SBI新生銀行アプリで内容を確認して承認。STEP3 振込実行。 STEP1 パワーダイレクトで振込先と振込金額を入力。STEP2 SBI新生銀行アプリで内容を確認して承認。STEP3 振込実行。

移行について

＜2026年3月頃＞

SBI新生銀行アプリにてスマホ認証（FIDO）の提供を開始します。登録・設定方法については、当行WEBサイトなどで改めてご案内します。

＜2026年3月頃～6月頃＞

従来の「VIP Access」は、上記期間中も引き続きご利用いただけますが、順次サービスを終了しますので、スマホ認証（FIDO）への切り替えをお願いいたします。なお「VIP Access」を利用したスマホ認証の新規登録はできません。

  • SMS認証・電話認証は引き続きご利用いただけます。ただし、スマホ認証（FIDO）を未登録の場合、1日の振込限度額上限は200万円となります。

Planned Change to Smartphone Authentication

Thank you for using SBI Shinsei Bank.

Starting in late March 2026, smartphone authentication will transition from the “VIP Access” app to the “SBI Shinsei Bank App”. This update will improving security and convenience for PowerDirect (internet banking) and the SBI Shinsei Bank App.

Details of the Change

  • Current authentication (VIP Access)
    When making a transaction, a push notification is sent to the “VIP Access app" and you approve the transaction within that app.
  • New authentication (FIDO)
    When making a transaction, a push notification is sent to the “SBI Shinsei Bank App,” where you approve the transaction using your smartphone’s biometric authentication.

Previously, authentication required a separate dedicated app (VIP Access). After this release, authentication will be completed solely within the SBI Shinsei Bank App.
After this change, authentication will be available exclusively through the SBI Shinsei Bank App, simplifying the transaction process.
- Please note that the SBI Shinsei Bank App is available in Japanese only. Some FIDO authentication notifications may also appear in Japanese.

Features of the New Smartphone Authentication

The new smartphone authentication uses the international FIDO standard and leverages your smartphone’s biometric authentication to provide stronger security than the “VIP Access” app.

How to Use the New Smartphone Authentication

Transaction (domestic transfer) via SBI Shinsei Bank app

STEP1 Open the SBI Shinsei Bank app. STEP2 Enter beneficiary and transfer amount in the app. STEP3 Make the transfer. STEP1 Open the SBI Shinsei Bank app. STEP2 Enter beneficiary and transfer amount in the app. STEP3 Make the transfer.

Transaction (domestic transfer) via PowerDirect

STEP1 Enter beneficiary and transfer amount in PowerDirect. STEP2 Confirm the details and approve the transaction in the SBI Shinsei Bank app. STEP3 Make the transfer. STEP1 Enter beneficiary and transfer amount in PowerDirect. STEP2 Confirm the details and approve the transaction in the SBI Shinsei Bank app. STEP3 Make the transfer.

Transition Schedule

<Starting in March 2026>

Smartphone authentication (FIDO) will be available through the SBI Shinsei Bank App. Details on registration and setup will be announced on our website and through other channels.

<From March to June 2026>

The current “VIP Access” service will remain available during this period but will be gradually discontinued.
Please switch to smartphone authentication (FIDO) during this time. New registrations for authentication using “VIP Access” will not be accepted.

  • SMS authentication and phone authentication will remain available. However, if smartphone authentication (FIDO) is not registered, the daily maximum transfer limit will be set at 2 million yen.
