Business Hours during the Year-end and New Year holidays
The business hours of our branches, ATMs and products and services during the year-end and New Year holidays will be as follows:
ATM Services
- *1 ATM will not be available from 1:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Jan. 5, 2020 due to system maintenance.
- *2 ATM will not be available from 3 a.m. to 4 a.m. on the second and the last Sunday of each month due to system maintenance.
- *3 ATMs will be available from 7 a.m. on Mondays and days following a holiday.
- *4 Japan Post Bank ATMs located in FamilyMart generally operate from 12:05 a.m. to 11:55 p.m., 365 days a year.
ATMs will be available from 7 a.m. on the day following the third Sunday of every month.
- ATM operating hours may differ depending on business hours of the building in which the ATM is installed and system maintenance of Shinsei Bank or partners.

Shinsei Bank branches will be open until Monday, December 30, 2019 and open from Monday, January 6, 2020.
Shinsei PowerDirect, Internet banking
Shinsei PowerDirect is available for 24 hours throughout the year except during system maintenance periods. Please click here for details regarding our system maintenance schedule.
Shinsei PowerCall, Shinsei Bank contact center
Shinsei PowerCall will be available as usual, excluding periods for system maintenance. Please click here for details regarding our system maintenance schedule.
Funds Transfer

Funds transfer requests received at or after 2:30 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2019 will be processed to credit the funds to the beneficiary account on Monday, January 6, 2020.
Shinsei PowerDirect
Shinsei PowerDirect services will not be available, e.g. regular system maintenance, for the period between 12:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., Sunday, January 5, 2020. Furthermore, the ATM network maintenance will be scheduled for the period between 11:52 p.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2019 and 3:50 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020.
Please be advised that funds transfer requests made during the abovementioned periods will be processed as follows.
Whether fund transfers from other banks is executed on the same date as request for the fund transfer will depend on the capacity of the payee bank and the maintenance status of Shinsei Bank.
- *1 The “Transfer Inquiry/Cancellation” screen of Shinsei PowerDirect will show “the following business day” for the “Transfer date”.
- *2 Maintenance may begin or finish earlier or later than scheduled. Fund transfers to other bank accounts may be credited on the following business day even if the maintenance has finished earlier than schedule.
- *3 May be credited on the following business day, depending on the situation, etc. of the beneficiary bank.
Products and Services
The GoRemit Shinsei Overseas Remittance Services
The GoRemit Shinsei Overseas Remittance Service's final day of operation for 2019 will be 30th December (Mon), and regular operation will resume in the new year on 6th January 2020 (Mon).
A higher than usual number of transactions is expected around the year end/new year period, which may result in processing delays in some circumstances. As a result, we advise customers to avoid making transactions around this period where possible.
Home Mortgage
During the Year-end and New-year holidays,
Shinsei PowerCall <for Home Mortgage(0120-456-515)> will be closed from December 31,
2019 to January 5, 2020.
