Expansion of Notification Services for PowerDirect (Internet Banking) and SBI Shinsei Bank App
Thank you for using SBI Shinsei Bank.
We are pleased to announce that on Sunday, July 26, 2026, we plan to expand the notification services available through PowerDirect (Internet Banking) and the SBI Shinsei Bank App.
Customers will be able to receive notifications by email and push notifications for frequently requested events, such as incoming fund transfers, upcoming account debits, completed debits, and insufficient balance alerts.
These enhancements will help customers monitor important transactions in a timely manner and facilitate the early detection of unauthorized or suspicious account activity.
Please note that the details below are current as of July 1, 2026, and the content and implementation dates are subject to change.

Some email notification services are scheduled to begin on August 3, 2026 (Monday).
What Will Change
Expanded Email Notifications
Notifications relating to transactions, account services, and security will be expanded.
For details of the newly added email notifications, please refer to "List of Newly Added Email Notifications".
Email Notification Preferences
Customers will be able to select which emails they wish to receive by notification category.
Nighttime Email Suppression Setting
Customers will have the option to suspend email notifications during nighttime hours (from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day). If this option is enabled, email notifications that would otherwise be sent during this period will be delivered after 8:00 a.m.
Expanded Push Notifications (SBI Shinsei Bank App)
Notifications regarding certain transactions and security-related events will be delivered via push notification in addition to email.
Push notifications can be enabled through the SBI Shinsei Bank App.

Please note that certain email notifications will continue to be sent regardless of your notification preferences or email delivery time settings.

- Transfer reservation (request accepted / error)*1
- Recurring fixed transfers (new registration, modification, deletion, or automatic suspension)*1
- Cancellation of a fund transfer
Deposit-Related Notifications
- Yen deposits (early termination or maturity redemption)
- Foreign currency deposits (maturity redemption)
- Home mortgage loans (upcoming repayment notice, Smart Repayment executions, repayment condition changes, prepayments, fixed-rate selection request)
- Occurrence of an overdraft
Security Notifications
- Login restrictions due to repeated incorrect password entries
- Security PIN/passcode changes or expiration

- Direct debit (advance notice)*2
- Direct debit (completed debit / insufficient balance)
*1 Notifications will be introduced in conjunction with the Scheduled Fund Transfer and Recurring Automatic Fund Transfer services launching on July 26, 2026.
*2 Advance direct debit notifications will be sent two days before the debit date to customers whose yen ordinary deposit account balance is insufficient to cover the scheduled debit amount.
