Renewal of Cash Card Design
SBI Shinsei Bank's PowerFlex cash cards with new design will be issued for account opening applications and card reissuance requests submitted on or after October 1, 2026.
This redesign reflects SBI Shinsei Bank's commitment to remaining a core banking institution of the SBI Group and to connecting customers with the future of financial services. It also represents a refresh of our cash card design to express the Bank's future direction in response to changes in the environment surrounding cash card services.

Availability and Issuance Period of Current and New Cash Cards
Customers who have one of the 32-color cash cards may continue using their existing card.
Important Notes:
On or after October 1, 2026, customers will no longer be able to change the color of their cash card.
If you wish to replace your existing card with the new design, a prescribed fee will apply.
On or after October 1, 2026, customers who have one of the 32-color cash cards and request a card reissuance will no longer be able to receive a replacement card in the same color. This includes reissuance due to magnetic stripe failure, damage, defacement, loss, theft, or a name change. A cash card featuring the new design will be issued instead.
Customers who apply to open an account or apply to reissue a card by September 30, 2026 and select one of the 32-color cash card designs will receive the cash card in the color selected at the time of application, provided that all required procedures are completed by January 15, 2027.
If the account opening or card reissuance process is not completed by January 15, 2027, a cash card featuring the new design will be issued, regardless of the color selected at the time of application.
