6.Withdrawal Method All will be transferred into Yen savings account on maturity ( Rollover not available).
7.Applicable interest Regarding the calculation of the interest on every interest payment day, the applicable interest will differ whether or not the Nikkei225 index on the determinant day is equal to or above the pre-defined equity index level. Interest determinant day shall be 5 days prior to every interest payment day. Please contact Shinsei Financial Center, or Shinsei PowerCall for details on applicable interest and Pre-defined equity index level.
8.Interest payment method Interest, calculated from the day of deposit or from the previous interest payment day to a day before the next interest payment day by the applicable interest rate, will be credited into Savings account of the deposited currency.
9.Interest calculation method Interest shall accrue on the entire amount in units of 1 yen, and will be calculated on a 365-day a year basis.
10.Cancellation before maturity Cancellation before maturity is not permitted.
In case Shinsei Bank finds the necessity of cancellation, we will do so by deducting all of the cost occurred to the bank calculated by our original formula, from the deposit. Please have in mind, that in this case your principal is not guaranteed.
11.Deposit Insurance This product is subject to Deposit Insurance.
12.Tax 20% Withholding tax will be deducted from the interest. Not subject to Maruyu tax exemptions.
13.About pre-defined NK225 index level "Pre-defined equity index level" shall be the closing price of Nikkei225 index announced by Nihon Keizai Shimbun Inc. on the Pre-defined NK225 index determinant day. If there is no announcement of such index, we will not accept the deposit of this product for the day.
14.About NK225 index on the interest determinant day "NK225 index on the interest determinant day" shall be the closing price of NK225 index announced by Nihon Keizai Shimbun inc. on the corresponding interest determinant day. If there is no such announcement on the interest determinant day, we will adopt the first index announced afterwards. However, if there is no announcement until the day before the interest payment day, the lower interest of the contracted interest at the beginning will be applied.
15.Others This product is not guaranteed by Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
